The future of African agriculture belongs to its youth. With a predominantly young population and persistent unemployment, digital agriculture and agricultural technology solutions (Agritech) offer concrete opportunities for economic and social transformation.
Eschkol Agroindustries sees youth entrepreneurship not as an afterthought, but as a central driver of its agribusiness model. We want to catalyze a generation of young agricultural leaders through technology, innovation and market access.
Our Approach
We're creating programs and ecosystems dedicated to Agritech: smart agriculture training centers, incubators for youth-led agro-startups, innovation competitions, and partnerships with technical universities and digital hubs.
Young people are trained in the use of agricultural drones, agricultural data platforms, crop management tools, automated irrigation systems and mobile applications to market their products. We also help them structure their ideas into viable businesses.
Our impact
Hundreds of young people trained by our programs have already launched innovative agritech startups, improved local value chains, and brought digital solutions to small producers in rural areas.
