Women's Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion
Women's entrepreneurship and financial inclusion represent two essential levers for the economic transformation of rural areas in Africa. All too often marginalized, rural women nevertheless demonstrate considerable entrepreneurial potential, held back not by a lack of will, but by a lack of access to finance, resources and markets. At Eschkol, we believe that empowering women is a prerequisite for sustainable and equitable development.
Our Approach
Eschkol Agroindustries places rural women at the heart of its agricultural transformation strategy. We support the creation of women's cooperatives, facilitate their access to micro-credit and set up digital financial solutions adapted to their realities.
Our programs also offer technical training in management, production and marketing, while creating value chains where women occupy economic leadership roles.
Our impact
Thanks to our initiative, thousands of women are accessing their first formal financing, improving their productivity and increasing their incomes. Women's economic autonomy becomes an engine of collective prosperity: improved nutrition, schooling for children, community resilience.
Our approach also helps to formalize women's informal economy, stimulate female innovation and break the cycle of economic exclusion. Every woman we finance becomes a powerful link in Africa's agricultural development.
